~The Office Tour~
On your first visit to our office and prior to any examination or treatment, we will give you a tour of our facility. The tour has an immediate benefit. It will provide you with a familiarity of your surroundings. We like to orient you to the dental team and the location of specific areas such as the rest rooms, complimentary break and snack counter, scheduling area, doctor and hygienist treatment rooms and the administrator's office. We have found there with this familiarity, new patients relax and enjoy learning about their oral health and all the care options modern dentistry has to offer.

~Comfort~
As part of the your you will notice that we are serious about your comfort. For example, there are TV monitors above every dental chair that provide for patient entertainment. When you come in for an appointment you have the option of watching TV or viewing a VHS or DVD movie of your choice. Headphones are also available, you can listen to your favorite radio station or compact discs.

~Sterilization~
Second, you will notice the cleanliness of the facility and the up-to-date equipment. We take pride in caring for the facility and keeping up to the moment in current equipment and we think it shows! We will also explain our procedures for heat sterilization in either of two different sterilizers and the use of disposable instruments, both of which are designed to provide optimum patient protection. You'll soon see why all of your procedures and equipment enable us to provide you with state-of-the-art dental care.

~Your First Dental Exam~
During your first dental visit, we will provide a complete dental health examination. This will include the teeth and gums, the bone and joint structures related to their function and the other soft tissues of the mouth. To help us during the examination we use a small intra-oral camera so that you can see exactly what the doctor sees. The big advantage of the camera is that we can detect areas of concern that are sometimes missed in a conventional examination. By taking every aspect of your dental condition in to account, we can recommend the best course of treatment for you.
